8 Easy steps to making the boys notice that fluffy ponytail

If you find yourself wondering how to make that new boy in class take notice and stop giving all that attention to the other girls, a fluffy ponytail to compliment your lovely Korean hairstyle is just what the doctor ordered!

In theory, it may sound like a simple enough thing to do when you think about how to tie a fluffy ponytail. However, the truth is there’s a lot of thought and careful styling that goes into tying a fluffy pony tail properly.

After all, you don’t want the best looking guys in class looking the other way, just because you don’t know how to properly style your hair for a ponytail/

Here are eight easy steps to making the perfect ponytail and get the boys to take notice almost instantly:

1. Split your hair in half from the ears up and clip the top section out of the way. We will be dealing with all the hair at the bottom first.
2. Brush the bottom hair into its own ponytail. You want to brush the ponytail and arch it right up against the top section. Once it’s nice and tight, secure it with an elastic band. This will prevent any sagginess under your ponytail, once we are through. It will also set your ponytail higher and make it appear more voluminous.
3. Use a small clip to split the ponytail in half. Take the top half and hold it straight up and use the same clip to ‘claw’ the two split ponytails in place.
4. Time to let the top part of your hair down. Brush the crown of your hair straight back. Hold this section up, and groom it some more using a hair brush. Now brush it all down over the ponytail.
5. Pull all your hair together at the back, so that the top part that you just groomed engulfs the hidden ponytail. Use a bungee elastic band or a normal hair elastic band to tie your hair up properly at the back.
6. To add more volume, we are going to use a clip to separate the top half of our ponytail, and clip the bottom part, just like we did earlier when we split up the top and bottom part of our ponytail.
7. And now for the perfect finishing touch – take a small piece of your hair and wrap it around the elastic that’s holding your ponytail in place. Wrap it all the way around the elastic band, until all the hair is used up.
8. Pin it into place using a bobby pin.

You now have a beautiful looking “innocent girl” ponytail that has just the right amount of fluff and volume to get those jaw dropping looks everywhere you go. Wear a traditional dining dress as you go out on an evening date or slap on your favourite shoes, jeans and blouse to perfectly match that Kpop hairstyle.
